We took the specification.\n\nCounterfeit detection runs while it counts rather than as a second pass. It uses ultraviolet and magnetic sensing, which are the two checks that catch the majority of poor forgeries. It is a screening tool, not a forensic one.\n\nAustralian notes changed design across the last decade, and a till float is usually a mixture. This counter takes both editions in the same stack, which is the whole point of buying one rather than counting by hand.\n\nBatch mode counts to a number you set and stops, which is how you make up float bags. Cumulative mode keeps adding, which is how you count a day. The fault self-check tells you when a note has jammed or been double-fed rather than quietly miscounting.",
